Engine reconditioning is the process of removing your engine, stripping it down to its individual components, inspecting and replacing anything worn or damaged, and rebuilding it to a reliable working standard. In most cases it costs significantly less than a replacement engine. Because your original engine is rebuilt rather than swapped out, your vehicle retains its original serial numbers and engine codes. That matters if you plan to sell or part-exchange further down the line.
