Fifty years of engines, from one Aston workshop
CR Auto Engineering has been working on engines from Aston, Birmingham for over 50 years. In that time engines have changed beyond recognition, from simple mechanical units to the tightly engineered systems in today’s cars and vans. The way we approach them has not: carefully, thoroughly, and done ourselves.
The business was built on a simple belief. Engine work is specialist work, and it belongs with people who genuinely understand engines, in a proper workshop, with the right equipment to hand.

Half a century on, we handle everything from reconditioning and cylinder head work to new engine fitting and remapping, for drivers and businesses across Birmingham and the Midlands.
What ties it all together is that it happens here. Over the years we have invested in our own machining and testing equipment, so whatever a job needs, we can do it in our own workshop rather than send it away. That means one team who know your vehicle, and one point of contact from the first call to the moment you collect it.
